Rena’s 30-year career began in 1973, as an administrator for one of North Carolina’s oldest law firms, Maupin, Taylor & Ellis. Since then, she has worked with attorneys in multiple legal disciplines, including corporate, patent, trademark, estate and employment law. She has worked in both boutique and mid-sized firms, with responsibilities ranging from trust accounting to inside-out office management. Throughout her career, Rena has developed expert knowledge in all facets of running of a law firm professionally and efficiently. 

Arguably her most expert skill? Rena knows attorneys. As such, she knows what clients need. At Soule Employment Law Firm, she brings that versatility of knowledge to assist in a variety of paralegal and administrative responsibilities. 

Interesting facts about Rena: 

• She sits on the Board of Operation Catnip, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that spays/neuters/vaccinates feral cats
• Rena grows dahlias and is an avid gardener 
• Rena’s first language was Greek, both parents being Greek immigrants 
• She is mother to two adult daughters, both living locally
• Rena is a Civil War buff and enjoys biographies of historical figures
