As mentioned in our March 17, 2019 blog post about the DOL’s new proposed overtime rule, on March 22, 2019, the DOL published the proposed rule in the Federal Register. 

So, the 60-day comment period has begun. If you have an opinion, now is the time to speak up and post your comment. You have until May 21, 2019. To view comments and/or post a comment electronically, go to the Federal eRulemaking portal.  In the search bar, insert ” Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales and Computer Employees” or ‘RIN 1235–AA20’’. Make sure to identify your comments by including ‘‘RIN 1235–AA20’’ within your submission.
